1. Grounds for a refund

Cancellation before dispatch. The full amount paid, including the R89 delivery charge, is refunded.
Cooling-off cancellation under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, within 7 business daysof receipt. The full amount paid, including the delivery charge, is refunded. Return carriage is for the customer’s account.
Defective goods under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, within 6 months of delivery, where the customer elects a refund. The full amount paid is refunded and collection is at our cost.
Return under section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, within 10 business days of delivery. The full amount paid is refunded and collection is at our cost.
Goods unavailable. Where an order cannot be fulfilled, the full amount paid is refunded within 30 days of notification.

2. Requesting a refund

Requests must be sent to support@lpg.africa quoting the order number. A reply is issued within 2 business days with a return address and, where collection is at our cost, an Aramex waybill.

3. Deductions

No restocking, handling or administration charge is levied. A deduction may be made only where goods are returned damaged, incomplete or unfit for resale, other than as a result of examining them, and the amount will be notified before the refund is processed. No deduction is made on a cooling-off cancellation or in respect of defective goods.

4. Processing time

Refunds are released within 5 business days of the return being received or of the refund being agreed, and in any event within the 30 days prescribed for a cooling-off cancellation, which runs from the date of cancellation. Banks require a further 3 to 10 business days to reflect a card refund.

5. Method

Refunds are made to the account or card used for the original payment. Card refunds cannot be paid in cash or to a different card. Store credit is not offered in place of a refund.

6. Part refunds

Where part of an order is returned, the price of the returned goods is refunded. The delivery charge is levied per order and is refunded only where the whole order is cancelled or where the return is at our cost.
