1. About us
These terms apply to purchases and reservations made through lpg.africa. By placing an order you agree to them. For anything unclear, contact info@lpg.africa.
2. Reservations and orders
While card payments are being finalised, an order placed on this site is a reservation at the launch price — no payment is taken at the time you place it. We will email you to confirm and, when checkout opens, a secure link to complete payment. A binding sale is concluded once payment is received and we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel a reservation (for example, if stock is unavailable) and will not charge you in that case.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT at 15%. The current launch price for the LPG Sense sensor is R599. We may change prices, but the price you see at the time you reserve is the price we honour for that reservation.
4. Delivery
We deliver within South Africa only, at a flat rate of R89 via Aramex courier, typically 1–3 business days from dispatch. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. See our shipping page for detail.
5. Returns and warranty
You may return an unused sensor within 30 days, and every sensor carries a 2-year warranty against defects. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected. See returns & warranty for how to start a return.
6. Using the product
LPG Sense is a non-invasive level indicator that estimates the gas remaining in a cylinder. It is a convenience aid and not a safety or leak-detection device, and readings are approximate. Always follow your gas supplier’s safety guidance.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the sale or use of the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
