1. Who runs this site
lpg.africa is operated by LPG Africa (Pty) Ltd, trading as LPG Sense. Company information is published at legal. The terms of sale apply in addition to these terms in respect of any purchase and govern the purchase where the two overlap.
2. Using the site
When using this site, you may not:
- try to break in, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, or read data that is not yours, including other people’s order pages;
- scrape or crawl the site in a way that degrades it for others, or submit orders or forms automatically;
- upload or send anything unlawful or malicious, or impersonate us or anyone else;
- use the site to market anything to us or to our customers.
Access may be restricted where any of the above occurs. Submissions to the order form are rate limited.
Security issues should be reported to info@lpg.africa and a reasonable period allowed for remediation before public disclosure.
3. Who owns what is on it
The LPG Sense name and logo, the LPG Sense sensor design and firmware, the app, and the text, images, illustrations, layout and code of this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Some third-party components are used under their own open-source licences.
Pages may be read, printed, saved and shared for non-commercial purposes, including quotation with attribution and a link. The design or content may not be reproduced for a competing offering, the name and logo may not be used so as to imply endorsement, and the content may not be used to train a commercial model without permission. 4. The information on this site
Reasonable care is taken to keep this site accurate. Specifications are subject to change. Where a material error appears, it is corrected and affected customers are notified.
Product information on this site is descriptive and does not replace the instructions supplied with the sensor. Statements as to accuracy, battery life, range and cylinder compatibility are estimates under the conditions described and are not guaranteed in all circumstances. See safety and intended use.
5. Links out
We link to a small number of external sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
6. The LPG Sense app
The companion application is supplied free of charge and is licensed, not sold. It may be used on the customer’s own devices for its intended purpose. It may not be decompiled or resold, or used to interfere with another user’s sensor. Where an application store requires it, the application carries its own terms and privacy notice. The privacy policy covers this website and correspondence with us.
Compatibility with sensors already supplied will be maintained for a reasonable period, and reasonable notice will be given before withdrawing a facility on which the sensor depends.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted access. This does not affect any order you have already placed, or any right you have under it.
8. Our responsibility
We are responsible for the content of this site, the security of the payment path, and all aspects of an order placed through it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or our liability for harm caused by unsafe goods or inadequate warnings. Where these terms conflict with those Acts, those Acts apply.
9. Changes
These terms may be amended. The version published on this page is the current version and the date at the head of the page records when it last changed. An amendment does not apply retrospectively to an order already placed, which is governed by the terms of sale in force at the time of that order.

These terms and this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. See complaints.
